WHAT’S INCLUDED WITH YOUR APPRAISAL?
Our clients receive the services of an educated and authorized appraisal expert who will provide you with a formal written and descriptive report complete with photos. The report should include the objective, intended use, scope of work, a complete and accurate description of the items, market analysis, markets selected, a well-defined value reasoning, and the qualifications of the appraiser.
HOW ARE APPRAISALS CONDUCTED?
Personal Property Inspection:
LDLawrence Consulting will examine all the property identified by the client to be included in the Appraisal Report, noting and evaluating characteristics, age, condition, provenance, and measurements of items. During this time of COVID, either on-site inspections (with physical distancing, masks, gloves and/or booties) or online appraisals using Zoom or client-rendered photographs can be performed.
Digital Photography:
Digital images are taken to document the item's existence and aid in research. Photographs are included in the final report.
Research:
Values are based upon comparable sales for each item. Research is the time taken to identify marks, labels, dates, locating and analyzing comparable items, investigating necessary markets, and if necessary, consulting experts.
Report:
LDLawrence Consulting's final appraisal or restricted appraisal report can be delivered either electronically or as needed, in a bound format. The report is compliant with the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice
